What were the full names of the Three Stooges?
The Three Stooges were possibly the funniest comedy troupe of all time. Over the years there were 6 guys in the group, and they are now all dead. Here are their full names: Curly: Jerome Horwitz (Howard) 1903-1952 Moe: Moses Horwitz (Howard) 1897-1975 Larry: Andrew Louis Feinberg (Fine) 1902-1975 Shemp: Samuel Horwitz (Howard) 1895-1955 Joe: Joseph Besser 1907-1988 Curly Joe: Joseph Wardell (DeRita) 1909-1993 The group was originally brought together to be sidekicks for a vaudeville actor named Ted Healey, and the original members were Moe, Larry and Shemp. The boys eventually broke away from Healey, and Shemp left to do his own thing. Moe recruited his younger brother Jerome into the act and renamed him Curly after giving him his famous shaved head.
