What were the major developments in the early Chinese dynasties ?
that depends on what do you consider “early.” the most significant transition in early China is the move from democratic leadership (elected leaders,) to dynastic rule. China adopted bronze in 4000 BC, but that was before the dynasties. the innovation of the Xia (2100BC to 1700BC) dynasty includes the placement of the classic 6 ministry system under the king, more advanced bronze technology, nobility, ettiquete, courtly music, and basic law, social classes. the Shang dynasty (1700BC to 1100BC) includes the master of the bronze art, furthur developement on government structure, 5 class noble system, strict code of ettiquete, full orchestra including 8 catagories of musical instrument (percussion, strings, etc.,) advanced law, and regional administration.
