What were the negtive and the positive impacts of imperialism on india ?

I had to write an essay for my World History class about this a couple of years ago. One of the positive impacts of imperialism was a increase in transportation (for example the British build thousands of miles of roads and railroads in India). Also, in India the British improved irrigation which decreased the amount of famine. Some of the negative effects of Imperialism included the exploitation of natives as cheap labor and a loss of native culture (especially the native religion since most Imperialists saw it as their duty to convert any “savages” to Christianity). I hope this helps!
