What will be set out for Santa in the yellow room of the White House?
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama says he expects Santa to use the Yellow Room chimney to make his White House entrance this year. Singer Gloria Estefan interviewed the president as part of a star-studded holiday special on volunteerism that aired on Univision Thursday night. Obama says the room was chosen as the place to leave milk, cookies and reindeer treats because of its central location in the residence. Obama also told Estefan it’s been great having his mother-in-law at the White House because of the care she gives his daughters, Malia and Sasha. And because she takes his side when he and his wife argue. He then boasted he would give a flawless Spanish Christmas greeting. Save for the accent, he pretty much did.
