What will happen to former Kerasotes theater locations that create a local AMC monopoly?

I would hate to see the local Kerasotes theater abandoned (as happened to the local General Cinemas theater when AMC bought them out and built a new multi-plex nearby), creating even more blight in an area that is struggling. There are already too many vacant buildings, especially aging theaters, in this area (Indianapolis) for which AMC is partially responsible.
