Phones Purchased Prior to 1/16/06 that do not have V CAST Music installed: The native MP3 player on your phone will be removed and the V CAST Music application will be installed on your phone. This means that you will no longer be able to play songs in MP3 format, as the MP3 player will have been removed. Please see below for step-by-step instructions on how to convert your MP3 songs to WMA format for playback on your new V CAST Music phone. Phones Purchased on or after 1/16/06: Your new LG VX8100 or Samsung SCH-a950 will already have the V CAST Music application installed. These phones do not have native MP3 playback capability.
