What will the wisconsin minimum wage be for minors after July 24th 2008?
Federal Minimum wage for 7/24/2008 is set at $6.55 an hour and in 7/24/2009 it is to go up to $7.25 an hour. However, effective July 24, 2008 most employees are entitled to the federal minimum wage of $6.55 per hour. Minors and some disabled workers may be paid $5.90 per hour. Workers who are 16- or 17-years old are entitled to overtime after working 10 hours per day.
