But it is a bleaching agent (so keep it away from towels) and it can irritate some skin. Proactiv’s Renewing Cleanser has benzoyl peroxide. But it also has beads that are claimed to exfoliate your skin. That will not help with acne, in which the pores are blocked with skin cells that normally line the pore, not skin cells from the surface. The Revitalizing Toner is simply an alcohol solution, which would have no effect on acne. It removes surface oil, but the oil in question is inside the pore. The Repairing Lotion has benzoyl peroxide in a 2.5% solution. A 2.5% solution works as well as 5% and
