What would be nice names for my triplets (all girls) who are due in October?
I totally adore some of the names you chose. I do have to say, though, that Switzerland doesn’t make such a lovely name. Otherwise I love most of the names. I love Evelyn – it’s gorgeous and classy. It’s cute but can also be elegant. Evangeline is also lovely, but it’s too close to Evelyn. I think Lily is beautiful. Ruby is really sweet too – it’s one of my all time favourites but it doesn’t really fit that well with the other names. I like Helena better than Helen. I like Helen, but I think Helena just is softer and prettier sounding. Helena, Evelyn and Lilly go together beautifully. They’re all classic, beautiful names – they sound lovely together. Annalise or Annalisa also work really well.
My favourite combination: Evelyn, Ruby and Isadora. If you really dislike the name Isadora, then I would replace it with Annabella. Lilly, Annalise, Annabella, Morgan, Helen, Evangeline and Yasmeen are all quite nice too. I prefer Lilly spelled as Lily, Annalise spelled as Anneliese, and Yameen spelled as Yasmin. These are all the more traditional, or the more commonly used spellings. I think that they look much nicer. Another thing: while I love the name Pandora, and think it is one of the best names on our list, I would definitely recommend either the name Isadora or Theodora instead. Pandora is a cool name, but it has negative mythological associations (i.e. the woman who unleashed evil into the world). Switzerland is a cool country, but an odd name to give a child. I don’t particularly like it. Bella is a cute but overused nickname. Tadaya sounds like ‘Today, eh?’. Mackillop reminds me of the words trollop and kill. Nova-Joy reminds me of the radio station Nova, and I find hyphenat
