Skip the Master’s degree (I don’t believe there even IS a Master’s in law) and prepare yourself to go to law school. To get into law school you must have an undergrad degree, but it doesn’t matter in what field. You must take and pass the LSAT, Law School Acceptance Test. Depending on your score on the test, law schools will consider you; obviously, the better your test results, the more law schools will be interested in you. Ethnicity is of importance, too, with most universities having a quota to fill, and with the more major universities accepting only the highest scoring applicants. Your list of extra-curricular activities, honors, organizations and offices held in them, and undergrad grades while doing these activities are important. The main qualities you need to go to law school are determination, perseverence, and that you know how to study. Realize that you won’t do much but school for the years you are in law school. Go before you have children! Your English degree will help
