What’s a plugin?
A plugin is a third-party application that interacts with WordPress to provide a certain, usually very specific, function for your blog or web space. For example, if you have a Flickr account you can use the flickrRSS plugin to bring photos into your blog space. Or, if you are having spam problems, you can activate Spam Karma to help you fight those dirty parasites! Read more about the plugins available on UMW Blogs here.
