Many modern computer games support multi-player gaming, but only a few are designed to support well over 1,000 simultaneous players. With CHAMPIONS, a Massive Multi-player Online Game, you may start the server program on a local network and invite a few of your friends over to play. Or, you run the CHAMPIONS client program and use the Internet to connect to a central 3DMUVE server, where thousands of players can be participating in many different games. Call or e-mail your friends and tell them in what time to meet you, or better yet log on and encounter hundreds of other people from all over the world and make a slew of new friends.
