what’s at stake for Arab countries?
The Second Arab Ministerial Meeting, in preparation for participation in the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the WTO, was organized in Beirut on the 30th of November and 1st of December 2005. The meeting was preceded by a two day experts meeting that gathered Arab country delegations to the WTO in Geneva, experts from the Economy and Trade Ministries, and representatives from the World Bank, Arab League, UN agencies, civil society, and others including academicians and media.
