Whats best place to visit in morocco?
Most tourists head for Agadir as this is a purpose-built Mediterranean-style resort. Once you arrive here you would not believe you are in Morocco as it is fairly commercialised, having been rebuilt after an earthquake. Having said that, many Moroccans living in Europe head here for their annual vacation and the summer months (July/Aug/Sept) get very overcrowded. If you have never been to Morocco then Agadir is a good introduction; although it has little to offer being a new town, there is the Kasbah built on top of a hill from where you can see panoramic views of Agadir and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a very good beach which is long and wide and hotels which are available to suit all budgets. There are many good restaurants here again to suit all budgets and serving all types of cuisine – Chinese, European, French, Italian, Korean, Indian, Mexican and of course Moroccan.
