But he couldn’t resist. ”I liked that. I think I’ll do it every morning,” Yanku said. Military officials have high hopes for the radio: relief from the boredom and loneliness of desert duty. ”We feel like we’re doing a lot to help the morale of people living out in the desert, sleeping in tents, eating food out of a package.
