Whats new with the Indiana Reading Diagnostic Assessments?

The name has been altered and the word “Diagnostic” was added to emphasize the diagnostic nature of the Assessment. Currently, we are conducting a field test for the Indiana Reading Diagnostic Assessment-Online (IRDA-Online). Selected schools will administer the assessments via computer and will be provided feedback through the ROAR System. Kindergarten Starting with Administration 2, the Phonics section will have 30 points instead of 25 points. The cut score for this section will be 24 points. First Grade The Phonics section now has 20 points instead of 15 points. The cut score for this section is now 16 points. Applied Phonics has been replaced by a dictation sentence. A Writing Field Test is being offered this year. Second Grade A Writing Field Test is being offered this year. ROAR System: Instead of three separate User Guides, one for each grade level, users are referred to one User Guide. This User Guide has all of the basic system information with subsections for specific questio
