Whats the best movie that Elvis Presley has starred in?
I think I should be ashamed to say that I have never seen an Elvis Presley movie, so I want to know which ones I should be watching. A: I’m sure there are junior high schools in America where admitting your shame at never having seen an Elvis movie would get your underwear run up the flag pole. My mother is a huge Elvis fan and I’ve seen every one of his movies multiple times. In fact, if I had been born 12 hours earlier, I would have hit the King’s birthday and be named Elvis. Also, at one point my mother wanted to name me Joseph Cartwright and call me Little Joe after Michael Landon on “Bonanza.” In a lot of ways, I’m lucky my grandfather died and I was named after him. Anyway, Elvis wasn’t a bad actor, it’s just that his manager Colonel Parker was very restrictive on the types of films that Presley could make.
