Whats the best way to get stains out of a toilet bowl?

One nice thing about watching this show is that my answer to the question the title asks is always: “A lot cleaner than that one.” Anyway, this technique worked for a toilet that I would have just decided to replace rather than attempt to clean, so it should be a snap for yours. Evidently your problem stains are on the outside of the bowl, so you won’t even have to turn the water off, but I’m going to go through the entire procedure: Turn off the water, flush the toilet and remove all the water from the bowl. Pour white vinegar into the bowl. Then make a paste of borax and white vinegar, just thick enough that it is about like damp beach sand, and then plaster the paste all over the inside of the toilet bowl. You of course will do this to the outside. After only about a minute, they removed the paste and the results were absolutely startling. Believe me, unless this was some sort of camera trick and the BBC is spoofing us with this show, you should have the job done and be back on Askv
