Whats the deal with the required 3,000 license plate sign-ups that I heard about last summer?
The Colorado Department of Revenue requires that 3,000 plates be in circulation by July 1, 2009—more than a year away. Plates already are printed and will be available beginning Jan. 2, 2008. It still is important to spread the word and encourage friends and family to purchase Share the Road license plates. Your encouragement will help ensure that we have 3,000+ plates continuously in circulation every year.
