Whats the difference between artisan bacon and regular store-bought bacon?
Artisan bacon is cured and smoked in small batches by producers who are far more focused on the quality of their product than on the quantity they can produce. Almost all bacon you can buy at the supermarket is processed in massive quantities, which means the processors worry more about producing large amounts of bacon quickly. That’s all well and good, but it ignores what we believe to be the most important thing — the taste. The bacon we sell is made in smaller batches by people who truly think about how the end product tastes. You can really tell the difference.
