Whats the difference between maxi pads and ultra thin pads?
Although all pads are sometimes referred to as maxis, pads come in basically two thicknesses — thick and ultra thin. Thick pads, or maxis, have a thick absorbent layer in the center of the pad. The thinner pads have less bulk. Always Ultra Thin pads have a Gel-Core center that absorbs moisture and turns fluid into gel. Either kind of pad will protect you. Which pad will make you more comfortable is a matter of choice.
