Whats the difference between “open to the public” and being a registered attendee?

A registered attendee is allowed to attend all three days of the fan-festival. Activities include presentations, seminars, roundtable discussions, contests, games, and door prizes. The full attendee receives a Goodie Bag contaning a personalized brick name badge, a program guide, some hand outs, coupons and other fun stuff. “Open to the public” means we invite you to view our exhibition of hundreds of hobbyist-built LEGO models, involving hundreds of thousands of LEGO pieces, covering 20,000+ square feet. There is also a “Free-Build” area to play in and vendors’ area for shopping.
