Whats the difference in the 20min and the bronzing tanning beds?

The 20 min bed is also refered to as a “base bed.” The beds emit about 6% UVB light and 94% UVA. The UVB light is needed to bring the melanin in your skin up to the surface. This is the pigment in your skin that allows you to tan. The UVA then darkens the pigment. If you go into a higher level bed, you will have less UVB and more UVA which will help you get even darker. It is best to rotate between the 20 min bed and the bronzing bed for best color. Also, since the 20 minute beds have more UVB (burning ray), it is more similar to the light of the natural sun so you are much more likely to burn in that bed than in a higher pressure bronzing bed. Hope that helps!
