Whats the idea behind “Kriminaltango” of the Swiss composer Hazy Osterwald?
Lucas: This was Andi’s idea, and I’m glad he thought of it. It’s a great song, and I agreed that it would be so fun to remake. We’re talking about several other songs to work on this year, and perhaps some original material. We’ll see what happens. Was it difficult to sing in German? Lucas: Did it turn out all right? I know I’ve got an accent, but I didn’t want to sing it exactly like in the Hazy version. Well, I enjoyed it and found German a wonderful language to sing in. So many opportunities for characterization! Fun sounds to work with. What is to be expected from a Deadfly Ensemble live show? Is it true that you play the Wave Gotik Treffen this year? Lucas: We’ve been doing separate theatrical productions for every live show. We’ve portrayed many different characters, and usually we have dialogs in between songs.
