Balzac is a Japanese horror punk band formed in 1992. They are considered by many to be the Japanese counterpart to the American horror band The Misfits, basing their music and their looks off the band. The Misfits and their Japanese counterparts, Balzac, staged a show at Tony Bennett’s studio complex in Englewood, N.J., for a possible future live CD and/or DVD release on Misfits Records.
