Both MTA Long Island Rail Road and MTA Metro-North Railroad have online enrollments for their Mail & Ride programs. If you use this mechanism you will receive your account number at time of enrollment and will be able to complete your Premium TransitChek Program enrollment the same day. Just log on to www.mta.info and click on Mail & Ride at the bottom of the page to take you to the Mail & Ride section. Remember to keep your account number so when you return to the Premium TransitChek Enrollment page to complete your application you can enter it at the appropriate point to complete your enrollment. This will ensure that you will receive your benefit at the earliest possible time.
