Whats the Quran (Koran)?
The Quran is the holy book for Muslims, who believe that it was revealed by the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad. It is the equivalent of the Bible in Christianity. The Quran, which means recital in Arabic, does not preach violence; rather it preaches understanding and peace among all of Gods creatures and between the People of the Book: Christians, Jews, and Muslims.
