Whats the right snowboard length?
The length of your snowboard is going to depend a lot on your skill level and what you plan on doing with the board. If you are in the pipe you will want a shorter board that can spin a 720 real easy. If you are more of an all mountain/freerider you want a longer board that will give you the stability at speed. Find a store where the employees are actually riders and know their stuff. Tell them your experience level and where you want to go. Boards typically should go somewhere between your chin and nose but each manufacturer has a specific height range chart located on almost all boards that will help you out. Remember to go on the shorter end for trick riding and longer end if you just like to carve it up!
