Whats to keep customers from adding more and more coupons to their shopping cart?
On the Coupon Cart Settings screen, you can limit coupons to only one per order. If you dont enable that option, more than one coupon can be applied in a shopping cart, based on these rules: • A coupon that applies to an entire order can only be applied once in a shopping cart. • A coupon that applies to one or more specific products can only be applied once. Unless the coupon is configured to apply one product per coupon, that discount amount will be multiplied by the quantity of the qualifying products. In other words, if you create a coupon that gives $2.00 off all CDs and a customer orders 3 CDs, the total discount would be $6.00. • If a customer uses more than one valid coupon for a specific product, ShopSite will apply the discounts for each coupon. Each discount is taken from the original price of the product (or the sale price if the product is on sale). For example, if a products price is $10.00 and one coupon discounts the price $2.00 and the second coupon discounts the price
