Whats with this loading of Japanese letters when I try to look at a Japanese web site?
When you first access a correctly coded Japanese web site using a non-Japanese operating system you will be automatically presented with a message telling you that you need Japanese Language Support and be given an option to download it. The estimated time for download is generally less than ten minutes and it only has to be done once. There is no negative impact on your English version of Windows or other software in installing Japanese Language Support. Of course, this is not an issue for your potential clients as they have the Japanese character set available to them as an integral part of their Japanese operating system.
