Whats with white people adopting baby girls from China?
Regarding adoptions, white babies are most in demand because most adopters in the USA are white. If not white, then next preferred characteristic is baby/young age. Many babies up for adoption in China are usually baby girls because they are less preferred in China due to culture and the one-child policy. Maybe these white couples want others to be able to see that they have an adopted child since the child will look Chinese. Maybe they like that attention. It will be broadcasted to the entire world that they have saved this child. There might be more adoptions with white children, how would you know? The adoptee children blend right in with their family when they are white. I think you just notice a Chinese baby or child with white parents because they don’t look the same race.
