WHATS WRONG WITH WHALING?
The Norwegian government s own data shows us that 1 in 5 of these whales don t die immediately, and in some cases, death can be prolonged for over an hour. There is simply no humane way to kill a whale at sea. Our new briefing, produced with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, shows that Norwegian law simply would not allow a cow or a pig to be killed by being blown up with explosives, so why is this considered an acceptable way to kill whales? The WSPA – part of the Whalewatch coalition of over 140 NGOs in 55 countries – believes that this inhumane practice must stop. WHAT CAN I DO?
