Yes, but only for transit to the dealership and for driving the vehicle while it is being conditioned for resale. A “Not Inspected for Sale” sticker must be displayed on the vehicle when operating it before it’s been inspected and offered for sale. Dealers are permitted to use a dealer plate on used vehicles they own and are offering for sale, but only after the inspection is done and the used vehicle disclosure label is displayed.
