Yes, space parameters such as tracks, blocks and cylinders can now be defined in both SDK 1.3 and SDK 1.4. Support was added to SDK 1.3 PTF level UQ94379 (available Nov. 2004) and to SDK 1.4 PTF level UK00802 (available Feb. 2005). Methods for get and set space attributes of the recordfile class were added for creation of MVS physical sequential and PDS datasets. VSAM datasets can not be created by JRIO.
