When did the term Coke first start getting used for Coca Cola?
Coke used to have actual cocaine in it as one of the main ingredients. Coca Cola as since removed the ingredient since it was banned as an illegal drug. If you look into this you will see that cocaine was used frequently in everyday thing including doctors offices, medicine, recipes, etc. That is where the Coke comes from and a major reason why the beverage became such a huge hit.
