For example, at the point the Philadelphia 76ers win the game that clinches them a spot in the NBA Finals, Home Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals market for the Sixers will close since these games are guaranteed to be played. If the 76ers are the higher seed in the NBA Finals, the market for their Home Game 3 will close as soon as the series is tied 2-2 and a series game 6 is determined to be necessary.
