When foreign companies in your country out source the work to other countries should we boycott their products?

All major companies out source some part of their business, be in manufacturing, sales, customer service. If you want to start a boycott you’d end up buying nothing. A few companies that don’t need to keep prices high to cover their costs. However the situation where business makes a profit by outsourcing will only be viable for another 50yrs approx, as the workers in those countries will begin to demand higher wages to match western earnings. And rightly so. The additional costs incurred for overseas manufacturing might not be so palatable by 2070. If your going to blame anyone blame the shareholders and us as consumers. We are the ones that want to make our money go further, or give a good return on our investment. The business outsource to make cheaper goods profitable. So next time you shop for a bargain think of what your doing.

Yes and never mind foreign companies – all companies in the uk including banks who outsource jobs beyond our shores do not deserve to keep us as customers. To hell with the ‘global economy’ this is what has managed to bring us to our knees! Today i watched with disbelief as the Bank of England again cut it’s rates – this applies heavily to savers and without them there won’t be any money in banks particularly in the UK where this idiotic PM has gone cap in hand to borrow from China what should already have been in the coffers of a prudent chancellor! Where on earth did this numpty learn anything about finance? More of my money is departing uk banks and investments today and going where i know it will give me a sound and safe return. I worked too long and too hard to let this cretin destroy my future.

No. Usually work is outsourced to developing nations, so technically when you purchase products from an outsourced factory, you are helping those who are living in great poverty.

They outsource primarily for profit reasons but unfortunately, they dont realize that they are outsourcing to countries, which cannot provide even average quality service. These companies will hence lose their customer base..

No, but then you should ask the question ‘Should we boycott immigrants from lets say Poland, to take all the jobs in this country and then stay and scrounge off the NHS or boycott them and send them all back.
