When historys judgement is made will Blair be remembered for Iraq the way Eden is only remembered for Suez?
Tony Blair has done alot for Britain and his only mistake was to keep the troops in Iraq. The people of Iraq needed to be freed from a dictator that used his own people as guinea pigs trying out biological weapons. If anyone thinks Blair and Bush were wrong for freeing Iraq from this scum, you need your head testing.
Real history will say Blair used UK lives and money in an illegal (UN said it was illegal) attack on Iraq to defend Israel. Blair lied the UK into an attack which an estimate says killed over 700,000 people.He followed Bush because he is no Labour man at heart he is a religious Thatcherite/ American neo-con.supporter. The war was a trick by the many supporters of Israel who are senior White House “advisers”. It was an attack against an enemy of Israel by Israelis who manipulated Bush just as they manipulate American political opinion generally. Iran is next on the list of these same people. I was a young soldier who served in the Suez campaign. Edens mistake was that he did not prior inform the Americans of the landing / invasion of the tripartite British, French and Israeli forces. America, our so called close friend, then rounded on Eden and had him railroaded out of power!
