Point cannot establish a network connection with salesforce.com This could be due to many reasons. However, the most common are The “proxy” information in the LinkPoint Quick Configuration is incorrectly configured. These fields, if used by your firm vary from company to company. So, there is no set answer. The best thing to do is compare your proxy configuration values against another user that can synchronize properly. Alternatively, contact your network or internal salesforce.com administrator for further help. Your basic internet connectivity may be “down” for some reason. Can you access the internet at all via your web browser? If not, please contact your network administrator. As stated in the above sentence – “this could be due to many reasons”. Sometimes, this issue is best resolved with a support WebEx session between you and and your LinkPoint360 support person.
