When I click a persons name to chat it opens up AIM instead of iChatAV… Why?!?
This usually happens if you have AOL Instant Messenger (or another chat program) installed and set as your computer’s Default Helper Application for chatting. Unfortunately, there’s not an easy way to change it. You either have to uninstall AOL Instant Messenger (or whatever chat application it’s opening) or can use a shareware program such as More Internet to change your Default Helper Application to iChatAV. If you’re using Internet Explorer, you can set your helper protocol for “aim” to iChatAV under Preferences → Network → Protocol Helpers.
