When I plug the battery lead into channel 4 to bypass the BEC circuit it speeds the steering up. Why does this happen?
The BEC stands for battery eliminator circuit. It is a circuit that allows you to run your car without the need for a receiver pack. In your case you are bypassing the regulator so you get unlimited power to the servo/radio gear. The only bad part is that your receiver pack will run down quicker. 82 There is fuel leaking out around the header coming out of the engine. Will this hurt the engine or cause loss in performance. Inspect the gasket between the header and the engine and replace if worn.
