When I save my files in the MarcEditor, they are not saving in Unicode?

When saving a file in the MarcEditor, you are asked to specify the Save File type. By default, the save file type is set to MARC Text Files (*.mrk). This file type has been reserved for ANSI (MARC-8) data. If a Unicode file is saved as a MARC Text file, the Unicode data will be flattened (and ultimately lost). To save your data as Unicode, you must select MARC UTF-8 Text files (*.mrk8) as the Save file type. This is a new file type in MarcEdit that allows MarcEdit to save data in UTF-8.
