When I try to change my Incoming mail server the settings are greyed-out and I cannot alter them?
• The settings are greyed out because the account was set up in this way by your original email provider’s software. To activate Spamjab, a new account must be created. To do this in Outlook Express: Go to ‘tools’ > ‘accounts’ > properties and look under the ‘servers’ tab. Make a note of your Outgoing mail (SMTP) server. Hit ‘OK’ and then in the accounts window hit ‘Add’. Follow the prompts entering ‘mailhost.spamjab.com’ as your incoming server, your noted outgoing server and your full email address as your account/login name. Press send/receive. If the send/receive is successful you will receive a Spamjab ‘Welcome’ email and your new account will be activated. Go to ‘tools’ > ‘accounts’, select the old account and hit ‘Remove’. Your new account will now pick up your email through Spamjab.
