When Is Cerberus Going to Properly Handle International Characters?

I know that this is an ongoing, known issue, but seriously, when we receive email like this in Cerberus, our only recourse is to dig into our Gmail archive to find the real text. That’s an unreasonable workaround, especially considering that many shops don’t have an additional archive like we have, and it takes a lot of time for a support person not to mention breaking any momentum or flow they might have established with answering tickets. Additionally, when a support person sends an email with any proper special characters (em dash, en dash, ellipsis, and of course the usual international character suspects like , , , and ) Cerberus mangles them into a string of gibberish and it makes the reply look unprofessional and disrespectful when the offending substitution is made within someone’s name. Please fix this.
