When is free movement and circulation of radio equipment possible in the Community?

0

Radio equipment bearing the CE marking referred to in Annex VII of the R&TTE Directive, which complies with the essential requirements and all provisions of the Directive may circulate freely and may as a matter of principle be used (to be put into service) without restrictions in the Community. Only for reasons of frequency use and risk of interference the use (the putting into service) may be subject to licensing or restricted in any other suitable way. This restriction has to be included in the user information and to the CE marking the “Alert sign” has to be added.
