WHEN IS THE LATEST EDITION OF THE JUNEAU DAILY NEWS POSTED?
As news happens; that’s how we could best describe the term “latest edition.” Because our news stories are never on paper, updates are made quite frequently through the day and evening. We generally close out “today’s edition” around midnight, but then post the first version of the new day’s events (including things that happen overnight and in the morning). Here’s how the system works. The Latest Edition is posted regularly throughout every weekday, Monday through Friday. In the case of major events, this version is updated on weekends, too. Each final edition is then available by individual day under The Week in Juneau for seven days before being archived in Search the Online Archives. The archives are searchable by date or keywords using boolean (and/or/not) refinements.
