When merging directly to file (rather than to a printer), I am producing output as PostScript files. How do I create PDF files rather than PostScript files?
Try printing directly to the ‘Adobe PDF’ Printer rather than to file. Alternatively, you can use Acrobat® Distiller® to convert PostScript files to PDF. When using watched folders, Acrobat® Distiller® can take all Variform Lite output and convert this to PDF in an automated fashion. To do this, set up your Distiller® (watched folder) as your ARTS PDF Variform Lite ‘output’ folder.
