When my child leaves HoLa, will s/he have trouble transitioning to an English-only school?
No. Upon completion of the program, HoLa graduates will have high levels of academic proficiency in both Spanish and English, and will be able to transition into any type of educational setting. If a child leaves before completing the program, academic content and literacy skills acquired will transfer readily from one language to another, sometimes after a brief transition period, depending on the situation.
