When playing the TURBO VL sounds some patches are flat in pitch. Any tips?

Every chromatic note of every patch in the TURBO VL was tuned with a tuner. This was a very tedious process but was indeed done. One should note that many sounds have their pitch dependent on breath level like on an acoustic instrument. If a VL TURBO sound is flat then you probably need to play with more air pressure or adjust the breath gain on your wind controller. Akai EWI players should make sure the Akai synth is tuned to A=440 and its pitchbend sensors are calibrated (centered) properly and that the EWI is set to send the proper MIDI controllers for the TURBO VL (aftertouch data is NOT being transmitted etc…) as detailed elsewhere in this Wind Controller FAQ.
