When staffing the Ambulance at the PB level is there any special requirements for the Medic or Basic?
When operating under a PB waiver, the ambulance service must meet the requirements of AR 5-256. Part of these requirements includes ensuring that all EMTs, at all levels of certification, who work under P/B waivers complete required, Department approved training for P/B waivers (i.e., Paramedic Assistant course).
